The truth is... this is my due date with baby #6! However, he is already 3 weeks old today and it's truth time, time for me to show you where I am and where I'm heading. You see, this pregnancy was like none other. After we lost our sweet baby Joseph a little over a year ago 2 hours after birth with a heart condition (www.rebeccadussault.com/blog/joseph-peace-dussault), I still had 9 lbs. on whence conceiving our newest boy. It almost felt as if I was pregnant for two years and it began to look like it too, as I topped out 168 lbs., having gained an additional 39 lbs. with this pregnancy. Hold up! Stop everything! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE MIRACLE MY BODY JUST PRODUCED! My beautiful child Remi Chariton is now in my arms, so in case you thought this post was going to go on and on in a vain manner about how I look these days, it's not. I just built, by God's grace and divine guidance, a human being in my body. His greatest feature being that of an immortal soul already loved by his Creator and Redeemer. Onward? Yes, indeed! What follows is a pictorial essay of where I am physically...at my lowest. fitness. ever. This is my start line. This is the place I am running from, literally. Motherhood has never and will never, God willing, leave me in a place of weakness and inability. I am strong! I am mother! I will march my self back to being fit without compromising being faithful and keeping my healthy and Catholic perspective to it. So here it goes... deep breath audience. This is the truth: ,With prayer, patience and perseverance I am going to overcome this. I will not set my expectations too high or too low. I will work hard and everyday be able to say I did the necessary things to affect a positive change. With my flesh in submission to my spirit all things are possible for God through me His lowly servant.
