I know many of you probably could make the above statement and it would be totally true, after all, school is back in session, the garden is all needing harvested, the weather is more inclement and the hustle before the onset of winter is real and the days are shortening rapidly…oh, and the baby needs you while dinner is being cooked, the laundry needs hung and you’re underway tutoring math for your high schooler through a thick fog of forgotten equations.
Despite all your best plans and advancements, you still haven’t figured out how to elongate time so you can get stuff done! I don’t mean just stuff, I mean the important stuff.
Then on the days when you do get important stuff done, you still don’t get to the point of working on you. Nope…another day of opportunity missed, potential wasted and true growth avoided.
You carry on with the same spin-cycle mentality of lies which say, you aren’t important enough to spend time on, you come last, it can wait, you’re too tired, you’re too busy, you’re needed elsewhere or someone will be shortchanged if you take time for you.
Then there’s the best one I heard just today where a husband told his wife he feared she’d become too radically Catholic if she adopted a Catholic perspective to her mindset about getting her body back into motion.
Yeah, if you’re dreaming up some fancified (totally made up word!) “personal sweat session” where you have no interruptions, it goes off without a hitch and it lasts for as long as you’d like…take a hike.
Actually, it’s more like showing your family your grit; by showing up for yourself you show up all the more for them. You become so much more stable and able and then the whole piece of work that your family is (mine too!) gains more holy MOMentum. Thanks to you mom!
Life is too short to perpetuate your fear and frustration that you’re still not the woman or mother you want to be. Let’s get you cracking on this goal and make it the most graceful and effective means you’ve ever taken!
Here is what these women have experienced through their time of formation:
Rebecca, I have no words to express the deep gratitude I have for you and your beautiful outreach to Catholic moms. Thank-you for showing me a way out of acedia and discouragement...I will be incorporating the new tools in my toolbox ...you have shown us an embarrassment of riches in faith and fitness. God bless you with every grace you need, now and in the future.
The WISEGals Course has been absolutely- life changing for me. Rebecca coaches in such an encouraging way, with everything grounded in Truth and knowledge of God’s plan for our bodies and souls. This not just a course in exercise and healthy habits,; it is a spiritual journey as well.
I’d love the chance to talk with you no matter if your issues are time management, emotional eating, not knowing what to do and how or any other hurdle keeping you from health and holiness. Just be courageous and book a free chat with me today.
For Christ came to set you free!
In Him we live and move and have our being,
