Are you intimidated by me?

Do I intimidate you? No, seriously!?

Do titles like Olympian and World Champion bring about a huge sense of inferiority? How about homeschooler, homesteader, elite athlete and mother of 7, Byzantine Catholic or having an incredible top 3% marriage?

Have you assumed that we can’t relate because I have it all figured out and wouldn’t understand YOU? Think again.

These things could not be more far from the truth. 
I hear you. I see you. I feel you. I am one of you. 
Maybe you think I’ve never really been hurt, become blue in spirit, struggled being overweight, lacked motivation or been partially derailed and adrift for a time?
I assure you that I don’t have some perfect past, some untarnished record of all things truth, beauty and goodness in my life. 
I have my own mess. We ALL do. I am one of you.

I am sprung from divorced parents. 
I have siblings I don’t see eye to eye with and are opposites of spiritually.
I am from a small community and grew up in a ‘bubble’ away from actual diversity.
I have 6 children and also a 7th who only lived for 2 hours in my arms 5 years ago.
I deal with life and death on my homestead daily.
I have thinning hair, cracking farmer heels…and a bit of a temper.
I am awkwardly parenting teens and eating copious amounts of humble pie to do it.

I am Catholic.
I am woman.
I am mother.
I am one of you.

My journey is mine, and yours is yours. One is not better than the other because they’re both just JOURNEYS. At the end of the day, we’d like to end up in the same place, but undoubtedly we have to believe in the route we are each taking to get there.

My path and yours will be marked with the unfortunate, the distressing and the unavoidable. It will show us how little, weak and wandering are our hearts. I know this for certain because I am one of you.

Therefore, I propose there is no time like the present to take charge of what can change, to apply gently a school of moral virtue to our lives and learn to use our bodies, minds and souls more substantially to glorify God. 
The more the world gets shifty, the more stable we MUST become.

We need to answer the call to steward and not be stuck. Good news! No worries. You’re off the hook and DON’T NEED TO MAKE ANY CHANGES.

The above message is for an exclusive group of gals that the whole world is counting on to keep a holy culture, to brighten futures, raise the greatest saints, asking the right questions and bleeding out their love over and over. 
It’s for the moms. The faithful moms. The fit moms. The CATHOLIC moms. 

NONE of us are any of those perfectly, so join me on the wild ride to becoming better and making personal progress in many areas right now for the sole glorification of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

I will mentor you in all I know. I will grow you and sharpen you! I am ready and willing to challenge you to next level living in a merciful, fun and gentle manner.

I believe you can do it because I am one of you.
