You know it all too well. You've walked untold miles in the shoes of overwhelm, having so much on your plate that nothing great is getting done, much less the mountain of the mundane that stands in your way: dishes, laundry, dishes, laundry, wipe and wash, to and from work, up and down go babies, in and out of town, left and right run the teens, down and out...FEELS THE MOM. I get you. In fact, I totally get you!
As I type this I am distracted by the background noise of a 4 year old and the two year old on my lap straddling to happily nurse and hang on for a time. They are happy. They are with me and not being pushed away. I can think of situations more productive for my work, but my kids need this mom-preneur, and it feels right at the moment that they are included in my productivity. After all, I'm here to write to you about the feeling of overwhelm, over-extension and anxious racing through the tunnel of life. St. Josemaria says, "There are some who pass through life as through a tunnel: they fail to realize the splendor and the security and the warmth of the sun of faith." You can't see the view when you're going through the tunnels of central Europe, and it's only because you're going from the grandeur of one view of the Alps to the other. You are literally under the mountain atop you. When you are feeling like you are overwhelmed and under-productive in your vocation, you are figuratively stuck in the tunnel beneath all the greatness that surrounds. You have to get into action to get out of that tunnel where the air is stale, polluted and harmful to you. Go oxygenate yourself with spiritual, physical and mental practices. Shelve what are the niceties, and get to the necessities. Do them regularly. Do them well. What can you go without today that is racket, clutter and chaos for your world? What will you trim out so you can show up in the more important things in life? Will you trade social media time for a workout or other self-care? Will you trade t.v. viewing for the mysteries of the holy Rosary? Will you trade driving to fast food for pulling out the veggies and meat to make a savory feast with your love to garnish it? Will you trade staying up late on your phone so tomorrow you can RISE into your intention and out of your overwhelm? You can be built and blessed in Christ, but it may take a deeper formation than you know. This may take more expertise that you actually have. It may take someone training you and speaking life into you that you've previously not had. I want to mentor you into living your ideal, manifesting what you dreamt was possible, and creating a life and legacy you're really proud of for the glory of God. If you wait to trigger this opportunity, just pull overwhelm in a little closer cause you're going to be cozy with it... Let me talk with you soon on my time and my dime so you can strike CLARITY... finally. Book our chat HERE.
