The O Can’t-phons! Are you praying them?
You’ve heard of the O Antiphons and are hopefully entering more deeply into the last breaths of Advent by reverently praying and living them. They are, in fact, my favorite part of Advent. Each one draws me deeper in what it means to anticipate a holy Savior and therefore, salvation in my life.
Maybe you’re not as clear on what you and I are needing saved from?
Ourselves, of course!
Yeah, that’s the scary part because everywhere we go, there we are. We act out our worst versions of ourselfs with regularity we’d never want to admit. We get totally cozy by the fire of our lush, low road living. We decline into our default mode which should just crawl back to the Confessional.
In this case, we are oft to be found praying the O Can’t-iphons! We fall ‘pray’ to these year round...
O it’s not important to be healthy externally.
O I know that fitness is for vanity, not virtue.
O I can’t afford the help I desperately need.
O someone would loose out if I got to sweat.
O I’m not naturally or historically athletic.
O my kids and spouse are totally in the way.
O I rather like my detrimental comfort zone.
Well, let’s see if these or even more personal excuses get you where you want to go. Actually, nevermind where you want to go....Where does God want you to go in 2019? What greatness has he envisioned for YOU?
Could He possibly want you to be healthier, happier and holier?
Does he want you to have the strength to decide to homeschool, change careers, accept a new pregnancy or adapt joyfully to an empty nest?
Be real! He knows that you see people you’re not serving. He knows you’re not speaking the full truth with your flesh. He knows you have more potential that you’re hiding from!
He needs you to start showing up! It’s not optional. It’s not to be put off. Your lack of essential stamina, strength and form is not justified!
St. Amma Sycletice nails it for all of us:
“Your body is the armor, your soul is the warrior, train both and you’ll be ready for anything.”
What would a ‘desert mother’ like her know about the flesh? Answer: everything!
So, at long last with the shadows lengthening on 2018 in your life:
Quit thinking that you can fully live truth with your soul and keeping ditching your body at the deli counter!
Quit thinking you can proceed with passivity from the great commission at the end of Mass and ditch your discipline for “donut Sunday!”
Quit thinking you can put up a proper spiritual fight when you loose still every punching match with pastries!
We are either tethered to discipline or vice. These are each pretty exclusive and don’t like to share the place you make for them in life.
And, If you’re aware that heading into 2019 means you won’t make changes for yourself yet again this year, call me.
With 10 years of helping women meet and exceed their own standards in body and soul daily, I can assure you’ll never be the same.
This could be the best present to yourself wrapped up in a 45 min. conversation that you WILL benefit from, guaranteed!
We all need filled, so we don’t feel want.
We all want fullness, so we aren’t lacking.
We all lack for what truly fills us.
Are you on this circle… going round and round? Ah, hem…
St. Porphyrios says, “When people are empty of Christ, a thousand and one other things come and fill them up: jealousies, hatreds, boredom, melancholy, resentment, a world outlook, worldly pleasures. Try to fill your soul with Christ so that it’s not empty.”
Well, since [we] have none of the aforementioned issues cropping up in our lives (fah, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la), let’s keep rolling along sustained by social media, doing our retail therapy, turning to television and avoiding action.
Why go on the high road when the low road is so accommodating? Literally, it’s always there for us and it feels pretty good every single time we go down it.
Why even strive physically, spiritually, emotionally and nutritionally when the option to check out and disconnect relentlessly knocks at the door only to eagerly be let in again?
Distract, detract, deter…who might lend this spirit to you? Can you call him by name?
WAKE UP WOMAN for the Lord is nigh!
The precious babe long sought for didn’t go from the wood of the manger to the wood of the cross so you could have hot coffee, a warm house, parties with candy and a shinny new gifts.
He came so you’d know grace enough to not grumble about the long list of daily chores, not loathe another connection with an inquiring kid, not turn coldly from your husband who needs intimate bodily contact to be able to communicate in fullness with you.
His plan for YOU included a much bigger test than if you can find a website, pay a bill or hit the school drop off with just the right timing.
He looked at your flesh and said, “will she make a suitable shelter for me in this cold world?”
He looked at your mind and said, “will she grapple against this culture to understand truth?
He looked at your soul and said, “will my intimacy be shut out because of her busyness?”
He looked at your emotions and said, “if I am simple, can she also be simple and trust me?”
Ladies, we unwrap the newborn babe in the cold out of His swaddling with our avoidance of doing the hard things, the small things, the hidden and insignificant things meant entirely for our sanctification.
We live like the world, we speak like the world and desire much the same gratified life as everyone else…no wonder the world doesn’t recognize Christ much anymore!!
Does your discipline, devotion and dedication speak of a relationship the world knows not?
Does your life light up the world though it clings to darkness?
O Lord, turn us. Form us. Use us.
Catholic moms everywhere, you beating hearts of your homes, LISTEN and DO whatever He tells you!! DO NOT submit to the yoke of the world or runaway flesh for another day!
Come on bended knee and crawl towards the manger with me…for soon we will truly adore!
In Advent silence,
Willing to talk about your life in detail and get a whole new perspective? Chat with me for free here.
Fall back in your mind to Nazareth.
See Mary there as a teenage virgin in a dusty small town of insignificance.
She goes about her day dutifully doing what’s laid before her and takes time to turn toward Almighty God regularly in adoration and devotion.
She knows nothing else.
She “knows” no one else and she is free.
You can nearly perceive her breathlessness as the mighty angel Gabriel descends and unfurls his heavenly glory before this humble maiden of lowly birth.Certainly the young woman knows God as mystical love and provider, but now she’s being provided with the full weight of the cross with her “yes.”
You and I are alike. We are both like Mary. We will never bear the Son of God, remain perpetually virgin or be rightly referenced as the Mother of God. What we can share in is that all generations could call us blessed.
You see, you have the capacity for sainthood and a much greater unity with Him then you’re choosing to live.
You have the ability to loose more of yourself and gain more of Him choice by choice.
Every time you populate your color coded calendar with more “to do” you sacrifice more of the “to be.” You literally color code and schedule Him straight out of your busy life.
So, stop it. Stop it and savor this prayer…
Father, You have bestowed on each human person the dignity of being created in Your own image and likeness — a dignity that I too often ignore in myself and in others. I’ve made a resolution to believe in this dignity and to treat my body with the care it deserves so that I may better serve You and Your Kingdom. I do not make this choice out of vanity or selfishness, but out of humility and love. I offer up my efforts today, in union with Christ’s most holy Sacrifice, for the salvation of souls and to make reparation for sin. I ask that You provide me with peace, strength, and endurance to complete this practice. I ask this in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
You are blessed, you daughter of the King, loved by Christ, and in your fidelity this can be from generation to generation.
Enter this Solemnity with great rejoicing. Feel the pulse of exaltation when in God’s favor as the Blessed Virgin Mary is and was.
I’d love to chat with you about how to come out of your own personal darkness and into the light this time of year. The struggle is real, yet there are really practical daily things you MUST do to remain in a state of joy, hope and peace…
That’s what this season is about after all right?
I don’t want it to be just a season with you…book a free chat with me today and let me get you rolling towards health and holiness as I have for many women before you.
My slots will quickly fill so follow this link and grab a time to begin your revolution today.
Look to The Light,
That idea…of living that life you imagined.
You dreamt it. I dreamt it. We all did.
You had a dreamy vision of being the ultimate child while growing up, that girl walking around the high school, the totally together woman accepting her first job, the new and glorious wife of Mr. Right and the energetic mom of who knows how many kids.
You even felt beyond that to include top athlete, company executive, cutesy shop owner, loyal friend, supportive sister and public servant.
You have, in fact, done a lot of the heroic, the stoic and the all-knowic.
But, you see, here you are with so many irons in the fire of life!
Can you even count them?
You think you can do it all.
You think you can be it all.
You think you can know it all.
Then you take on more and more externally. Your voyage externally is wild.
You wind yourself up every day to be on boards, in classrooms, at shops, volunteering and even home educating.
The problem then is not this problem.
It’s who you have to be to DO all of that well.
It’s what you feel when you’re alone.
It’s what you say to yourself in mirrors.
It’s the constant drain you feel your energy and enthusiasm.
It’s that nagging voice reminding you to high road it when you don’t.
It’s the body you live in that chases around pleasure and entertainment that’s fleeting.
Cause at the end of it all YOU are still there, that woman inside is the woman who stands on the outside for all to see.
The way others see it though is…
You’re the one you have to love first to love more.
You’re the one you have to serve first to serve better.
You’re the one who must be at prayer and thought first to inspire others.
You’re the one who has to learn first to really teach.
You must then take on the inside of yourself to really know yourself and show yourself.
You must be fortified to carry the weight of every day, which only has the sole interest of caving in on you.
Will you be formed?
Will you be fortified?
Will you be faithful and fit and ultimately ready for what’s ahead?
Not if you choose to stay stuck.
Not if living disjointedly is your drug.
Not if you don’t think your body and soul all speak of the same truths.
You need to be a healthy and happy mother.
You need to crawl out of your cave of sorrow and rise.
Not because you’re woman and the world needs to hear your roar, NO, but…
Because your life is hidden in Christ and even those deepest recesses deserve wholeness.
Show me a man, woman or child in your life who’d be put out by you becoming stronger, more disciplined, properly motivated, and stubbornly faithful!
SHOW ME IF YOU CAN.
I know you want more. I know He wants more of you.
Will you become a saint? Will you live the life you imagined or at least have the strength, stamina and ability to handle the less than amazing stuff landed on you for your sanctity?
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” Duet. 30:19
You get the choice today…again.
Lifting you up,
P.S. We're not here to struggle, wallow and live miserably. He had more in mind when he made you in your greatness. Please reach out if I can help you reach higher and grow more. I’d love the chance to chat with you for free. Just book me right here. I am here to serve you.
Shocking, I know, but you’ve been appointed as Mother Superior!
Well, it’s true. You fit the role and it fits YOU.
Before you go off in your thoughts and dream about all the niceties of living the sublime silence of the cloister, the perfected life rhythm of work and prayer or begin to yearn deeply for a habitat of increasing holiness like that of a convent…just sit with me in this.
You whizzed through your postulancy (upbringing).
You conformed beautifully during your simple vows (engagement).
You accepted in perfect willingness your final vows (marriage).
Then you were appointed as Mother Superior (motherhood).
Shocking to the system on a lot of levels?
Are you thinking, “say it ain’t so!”
You know those little children in your home, they’re your postulants.
They count on you for their formation, routines and discipline.
They look to you for the promises of that life lived in uprightness.
They feast at the table of your words and actions daily.
The soak in all your teachings spoken or acted out.
You are their guide.
You, their conduit.
You, their truth bearer.
You, their mother showing them God’s greatest mysteries.
Yes, you in fact, have founded a convent/monastery.
You have established an order and a rule of life.
You have set an institution in motion.
…and you will always be the Mother Superior.
The neat thing is, that you’re perfectly cast. You fulfill this role.
It’s not the role of another, it’s yours.
It’s not the work of another, it’s yours.
These aren’t the lines in someone else’s script, they’re yours.
How many moms today completely forget that there are running a small
monastery of the home?
Maybe they’d remember if we called it a MOMastery.
Are you thinking you don’t have what it takes, so how will you ever give it to them?
Are you lacking in your own formation, and feel confounded as the chaos of our culture hits your home?
Are you disjointed in your own discipline and see the kids acting out that confusion?
Are you disconnected during full and vulnerable intimacy with the personal blockages you feel?
There’s a better way. There’s a course for you full of truth. There’s a step-by-step guide to mentor you back into motion…one step at a time.
You don’t need to suffer silently.
You don’t need to hate the position your in.
You don’t need to sabotage yourself.
You don’t need to battle against the basics of life.
You need to rise, lead and thrive!
You just need rewired for your role, perfected for your performance, and re-excited for executing your responsibilities daily for yourself, your loved ones and God.
…Cause we’re all watching and waiting on you, so what are you waiting for?

I’ve wanted to take a hammer to mine before.
While I was hovering at 48 lbs. heavier than I’d ever been after back to back pregnancies, I wanted the fast fix and to get back to my fighting weight, my happy momming weight, in fact, any weight at which I could distinguish my normal self again from this person.
I was hoping I could swing something destructive and just knock the weight back off so I could rise from my lethargy and wallowing.
I stood fearful of the long road…
I had succumbed for a few months to focusing on what I couldn’t do. A lot of this was just a pure lie I was telling myself.
I was busy gathering evidence for my case of inactivity and felt the continual weight of it piling on top of me. It cost me my patience, confidence and vision.
I felt as if I couldn’t_________________.
Filling in this blank was what I perfected every day, putting my energy right there in that negative spin cycle.
The only true part was that I didn’t want to have an early baby (I always do by a few weeks), so early that they’d fly me out across the state to a larger hospital for delivery.
My births are also just longer than precipitous and I could imagine a mid-flight delivery or the baby crowning in the back-up option ambulance as it was flying around a tight corner on the mountainous roads headed westward.
At this time:
Had I slowed down…
Had I been more introspective…
Had I asked in prayer…
I would have concluded that I COULD DO A WHOLE LOT more that I wasn’t doing, but I didn’t focus there. Bummer.
I would have been happier, healthier and holier for it. I could have stayed so much stronger and kept up my stamina.
I just wanted a hammer in hand to beat myself quickly back into shape, but had to instead settle for the humility of a crooked crowbar, something to pry into my spaces of excuses, laziness and poor patterning board by board.
I would have to be patient and listen to each nail of my negativity loosening so my frame could be rebuilt.
The screeching sound of each loosening board exposed the beams of my heart, mind and soul. They were still there sturdy and strong, just needing covered over with sturdy new habits, able to withstand the inclement weather of life.
Slowly, inch by inch, the beauty of a much healthier body and mind took shape.
I could see clearly how to hold the actual weight of life as a wife, mother and entrepreneur. How to house and shelter those in my care because of my own built up strength and stature.
I owed it to myself to pry off all the last of the broken boards and trust in Him to make me whole again.
Maybe you need to put down the hammer you’re holding which will only add more damage to your structure. You don’t need more dings and dents. You need recovered by grace, mercy and devotion to what makes you a healthy and holy mom.
I know it’s tempting to use the tools of destruction, whether in our hand and in our minds, but the better and more refining object is the necessary prying that only a crowbar of faith and fitness can work in our lives.
Will you put down your destructive tendencies and be made whole in Him? No one can do this for you.
Choose well! Choose life!
“I came that they might have life and have it in abundance.” John 10:10
For your health:
You long to smash your entrenched addiction to sugar, corn, stress, and sleep deprivation with the hammer of some firm resolution to save you from yourself.
Forget these fantasy hammers. Pick up the crowbar. Insert the wedge:
Have 1 scoop of powdered greens with every meal. Go to bed 30 minutes earlier. Take your Rosary on a walk every day.
Stop grandstanding with your impotent sledge and rip out just one board.
No matter how fortified your prison, no matter how deep driven the nails, nothing can long withstand the continuous wrenching of the wedge.
Nail by nail, board by board, you will be free.
I would be so honored to hold your hammer and hand you a simple crowbar to refashion your lifestyle. There isn’t any space in you this won’t impact for the better. I do this for women all the time! If you’re ready and willing, give me a shout and we’ll talk on a value packed FREE Coaching Chat right here.
Prayer inside leads to action outside,
P.S. Thanks for your patience with me in waiting for this writing. I was experiencing severe nausea early in this my 7th pregnancy. Nothing of worth was coming to my mind, and further to the page, as I lay in the fetal position trying to survive. That's the truth. The brutal honest truth!
She used to be someone.
Her dreams and hopes defined her, whether unafraid to tell classmates she loved the color green, how she shamelessly ate black (or green) olives from all ten finger tips regularly or that she wanted to fly F-17’s in the air force.
She didn’t need anyone to tell her that life looked any different at a later stage.
She grew up thinking that if she just stayed the course and followed the high road in education, athletics and family and her faith life that she’d be well insulated against possible crushing realities and later insecurities.
She worked hard to protect the bubble-like lifestyle her young mind and heart created around her.
She let people in that she liked and found a way to wiggle away from anyone she didn’t. The friend pool ran deep and she was well liked and even revered.
School, school and more school full of it’s cuts to the heart and words of affirmation.
Also there was marriage, which happens to the best of them.
She, too, married.
From on top of the world the new couple took to life. What would stop them as they ascended the heights literally?
They could scarcely afford coming together, but that didn’t stop them from almost purchasing the $1,500.00 vacuum cleaner the next week from the Kirby Vacuum Man.
Oh, my… financially tragedy avoided. It doesn’t mean they didn’t think long and hard about it.
Life bumped and rolled along and she found herself growing bumps, baby bumps with joy and elation at the promise of each swelling abdomen.
With each stretch mark she remembered that perhaps she was just mortal afterall.
She was just like other ordinary moms.
She was stretched thin.
She was tired. She wasn’t as stable and dream driven as she once had been.
She caved to the less than ideal practice of just getting through each day.
He face’s sullen expression wondered why the severing of her show worthy past and her plainer than day present?
How did she become disconnected from the heart driven hero she used to be?
Was THIS all there was?
She began to escape this reality by living the virtual reality of others.
For as many shows as she watched she never became “Ten Years Younger,” never had a the money for a “Home Makeover,” and definitely couldn’t afford to ditch the kids and star on the “Travel Channel” sipping wine in a foreign destination as a couple, despite her bursting past passports.
She endlessly watched the innovative fun workouts women would do in their latest cute and abnormally revealing outfits.
For as many workouts as she watched and the number of ideas she collected, she never got trimmer arms, a flatter stomach or tight high glutes.
Nope, she watched others get those.
She found herself medicating a spirit of hopelessness. She found herself wishing she could be anything but what she was. She even so much as disconnected from her dignity.
Coasting was her curse.
She wasn’t’ throttling toward her earthly or heavenly goals.
But, eventually she changed.
She learned again to aim straight and shoot.
She learned to get focused and move forward daily.
She learned that life is one grand uphill and you have to be strong enough for whatever you’re asked to carry because you usually get to choose.
She is no longer self-deflating, but self-enhancing. Why? She reached out.
She took the lessons from and the hand of another who showed her how much greatness she was made for.
Now, she truly lives.
Is this about me? Yes.
Is this about me? No
The real question is, is it about YOU?
Choose life and choose it abundantly (John 10:10)
In His grip,
P.S. If you haven’t found the hand to hold, the voice which can speak into you or the mentorship for mothering in greatness, please give a holler and let me help you. I have these pants. They are a certain pair that has been with me on a long road.
These pants were given to me shortly after I gave birth to my 5thbaby and I was told they were my “goal pants.”
I held them up in front of my body which was 48 lbs. heavier than normal and
Why would I need goal pants?
Shouldn’t we have just stopped right there and celebrate that my body had created not 1, nor 2, nor 3 humans, but 4 to this point! I had 4 fully healthy amazing unique individuals, which my body had formed never stopped forming with miraculous calculations for 9 months straight?
Why on earth was I being presented mauve skinny jeans as my “goal pants?”
The well-meaning gift giver had never even carried one baby and so the sting went deeper watching her 108 lb. body there next to my post-partum pooch.
Let me tell you how far I buried them away. I could have cared less to think I had to bounce right back only to be poured into those things, then or ever.
Well, a long time goes by and I nurse with such sacrificial dedication, I exercise for the pleasure with consistency and I tamed my desire to eat without measured intention.
Low and behold, eventually the jeans not only fit, but also I look good in them.
I couldn’t have made it to that goal, another’s or mine, if I didn’t have a lot of joy on the journey.
Making my life’s schedule reflect time to be in the presence of God and maintain a healthy self-image, telling myself the story God knows about me, was an important aspect.
Setting myself up for success by reaching out to friends and family to help myself get physically back to form was another necessary piece.
I leveraged those who would workout with me as well as those who could keep kids or make trades of time and talent so I could have this space.
Lastly, I didn’t do one minute of obsessing over it, but rather put systems in place that allowed for continual change and improvement.
It’d be unnatural for a mother open to life to get overly attached to how she looks. As soon as I get my flattest stomach it swells with life again.
Pure bliss!...with more hard work to follow.
One day it’ll be all flat stomach (ha, ha…must keep striving) and the undying desire to carry life.
For now, joy on the journeyand a real reflection of the ordered beauty and graces to be firstly faithful and prudently fit at any stage or age.
I am on board.
It’s time to realize your potential!
You, too, can have some “goal jeans” shirts or what have you and fit into them by following a systematized approach to mastering your cravings, following a tailored for the busy mom of many daily routine for your fitness, and smothering it all in the awesome perspective we maintain as conscientious Catholic moms
Live your goals! Wear the jeans! Praise the Lord!
From the top drawer,
P.S. Something I have found super helpful is to wear clothes which actually fit yoru current shape or weight. This isn’t so you just stay comfortable with where you’re at, but you minimize the emotional and mental damage you might otherwise do to yourself when you see things popping, flopping and squishing into various unattractive forms.
Dress your best. Ready yourself for success! Put on your power suit of prayer and go raise saints!
Reach out to me if this is lost on you and you just want to have your hope restored and a plan to follow daily in: faith, fitness and food. That’s what I do!
My this and your this may be different or nearly the same.
No one else is making me do this, but myself.
Today’s this is sitting down and writing, stripping away my other more loveable priorities, tasks and agendas to reach to a crowd…the mommas in the audience.
Would you please stand if you procrastinate.
Would you please stand if you live in fear.
Would you please stand if you don’t feel worthy.
Would you please stand if you’re without a life rudder.
Would you please stand if you need to divorce a false story about yourself.
Stand and stay standing.
I am making myself do this post because it’s the hard thing I don’t want to do. I want to do what comes easy, just like so many of you.
For me, it doesn’t come natural to sit or to write. It doesn’t come easy to separate myself off from my kids in my bedroom/office and have to say I’m working to the little people in my life who don’t understand. I am not a writer. I am inconsistent at posting, blogging, videoing and generally communicating to the masses. I sometimes lack things to say. I get frequently interrupted…are you sick of my excuses yet?
I want to be reaching you much more often! I want to inspire the most healthy and holy crowd around, but I can’t do that without cutting away at my own resistance to things I don’t love.
Well, here it is. My raw. My real. My life.
I’d so much rather be keeping my perfectly tiddy house, leading a rosary walk, going on a long road bike, swinging in my hammock reading Lift Up Your Heart or St. Hildegard Sister of Wisdom, but I’m not. I’m here with YOU.
What do you struggle to do? What’s that thing you’re not doing that you ought to be? I mean the legacy level work in your life, not the toothbrush scrubbing of the backside of every faucet in the house…cause they’ll never notice anyway.
I am saying today that I am recommitted to my CORE. I want every day to reflect my Commitment of Real Extension. I want to go beyond where it’s all comfort based and lead with my CORE.
At the core of this mission to move forward will be doing daily what doesn’t come easy, and doing it firstI mean it. That’s what extending yourself consists of. Lots of it!
You have to see that first before you bury it, and each day will try its best to do that.
From the CORE of who I am and desire to be, to the core of who you need to be, let’s roll!
“Engage your core” is something I have long preached in my 40 some odd full-length workout videos. Core, core, core. I preach it only second to the Gospel.
Well, I am reengaging!
Will you reengage and do that hard thing too to move yourself forward daily? Together in prayer and purpose we’ll rise as wives, mothers and mentors to a hurting world.
Keep fit, stay faithful!
Mother of 5,

So you desire "the good life.”
If only you could buckle down, get organized, make more time for yourself, have obedient children and a nanny to make some meals and help clean the house; all these never ending task and responsibilities assaulting you…
THEN you'd have it made. It would be so much easier to be holy. THEN you could get out the door and exercise, go for a run, ride your bike, lift weights without anyone underfoot. You’d head to a full holy hour, manage a daily rosary and pray without distraction. You know, that real life stuff... the life you had and enjoyed before marriage and kids, that life of freedom.
But deep down you know: the "good life" is not where it’s at. It’s not your calling.
As a mom, you are made for sacrificing yourself for your family.
No matter how much you wish otherwise, no matter how numbing and fright, you are called to serve amongst your domestic church.
The culture wants you to believe the best of life is to put your feet up, indulge more, work less and take in another Netflix movie.
But our grandmothers and the saints didn't live this way. They certainly didn’t lay down their lives so you could grow fat on the couch with cookies, candy and soft drinks.
They fought wars of destruction so you could fight a war of creation. The war of creating strength and stamina to keep your families safely on the road to eternal life. The act of creating an atmosphere where you are thriving and living in love.
I am not speaking of literal wars (though we must always face that possibility): I'm talking about engaging all your projects with the directness, courage, and intensity of a warrior.
The early desert mother St. Amma Sycletica said, “The body is your armor, the soul is your warrior. Train them both and you’ll be ready for anything.”
You may still believe you can side-step the fight for that real life and yet, somehow arrive there by grace. No.
But like it or not, you are made for waging war, the war inside you and outside you to keep your baptismal garments unstained or frequently re-washed.
Denial of that fact leads not to peace, but to uselessness.
In refusing to engage an outside enemy, you become your own enemy, your life force drained by internal conflict, doubt, and double-mindedness. When you refuse the war without, you unleash the war within.
Turn and face the enemy. Choose to fight for life in Christ for you and your household and start swinging!
While others deny their nature today, you will choose the fullness of your feminine will, intellect and heart and create in greatness.
Choose your war and walk into it, with the blood of Christ on your lips and His sacred flesh in your mouth.
Today other women will cower and fade, but you will RISE!
Choose the life that makes your heart pound, your hands shake and your belly flutter! You were made for this war and this life!
If you’ve not been feeling the will to fight and need a super boost of motivation, call me for a FREE Coaching Chat by scheduling at http://www.fitcatholicmom.com/talk.html
I’d love to spend some time getting you clear and confident going forward.
Moms who allow themselves truthful evaluation and new direction are winning the war with correct nutrition, bulletproof mindsets, consistent fun exercise and immersion in a deeper prayer life. These are sustainable when you let a world-class athlete and coach kick your kabooty into gear, but you gotta want it!
Blessings, Rebecca Dussault
